Capella grew up in the West, living in Sedona, Arizona as well as small towns in Alaska, Colorado, and Wyoming.  Growing up with the wild outdoors, Capella's biggest inspiration is the natural world we live in.  She knows that the best spaces are luxurious, comfortable and feel fresh, but remain timeless with influences of history and global culture.  Above all Capella listens to what the client wants, how they live their lives and transforms that into a comfortable and functional personalized design experience. 

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Capella studied architecture and communications. After completing her degree, she remained in Hollywood to work in the art department for television and film, eventually pursuing her chosen career of interior design.  

After working all over the globe with one of the design world's most respected talents, Michael S Smith, Capella opened her Atlanta-based boutique interior design firm, Capella Kincheloe Interior Design in 2010.  She has been blazing through Atlanta’s design scene, designing multiple rooms for the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas Showhouse and being published in numerous magazines and blogs.  Capella has also delivered multiple public speaking engagements and appearances.  Most recently Capella was identified as "One to Watch" by the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC).  

Capella is the co-founder of Design Collective, a collective of interior designers, architects, artists, vendors, and other design professional discovering & influencing what's next in Atlanta design.
