SUPPORT ARIZONA BUSINESSES: LOCALIST

Local First Arizona, an organization whose purpose is to "strengthen communities and local economies through supporting, maintaining, and celebrating locally owned businesses throughout the state of Arizona" has started a cool new program - Localist.  By becoming a "Localist" for $20 per year you will receive VIP access, exclusive event access, and discounts and freebies.

Some of my favorite local businesses?

North Mountain Brewing- Close to my neighborhood, North Mountain Brewing is truly a local spot.  Think communal tables, great beer, and elevated fresh & local pub food.

Yoga Pura - A yoga studio that is more than just the postures, they teach all eight limbs of yoga for a well-balanced practice.  Their motto is "Live Happy!" and you can't argue with that.

Taliesin West - There are some places in the world that impress an immediate sense of awe and this is one of those for me.  A must visit.

Uncommon Cargo - A globalphile's dream with beautiful art, furniture, and accessories from far-flung places on the globe.
