what not to buy: sofa edition

When I do the best of atlanta craigslist posts, I come across dozens and dozens of awful sofas.  I hope that they are all on CL because someone gained some sense and bought a more stylish and useful sofa.  Here is not what to buy when purchasing a sofa, because sometimes you don't realize how bad it is until you've brought it home.
