  • Do you have a hard time getting clients to share their budget?

  • Are clients not sure how much things will cost?

  • Is their budget too low?

Getting a budget or how much clients want to invest is very important when you are working with a client. This helps set both of your expectations as to the quality and price that you’ll be working with. And setting expectations is the first step in avoiding any issues or problems during the project.

These budget worksheets can be given to the client to complete so they can work out how much things should cost and see the various components of putting an interior design project together. This allows the client to get a starting point of what things could cost and create a budget they are comfortable with. By working through these worksheets they can see if their expectations on price and total budget are reasonable. This will also help you get an idea where they want to spend and where they want to save.

Note: These budget worksheets focus on furniture & soft finishes and not construction or remodel projects. But, you can use this format to create your own construction budget worksheet that works for your business.
